Thermal Remediation Prep List

Here is a list of things that need to be taken into consideration when having a Thermal Treatment.

• Reduce clutter in your home or apartment by discarding items you do not need in plastic bags
• Washing and bagging a portion of your clothing may be required (This will be determined at the time of inspection).
• A ThermaPure treatment can take up to 24 hours to complete therefore you may need to find a place to stay overnight.
• On the day of the treatment make sure you have clothing set aside that has been pre washed in hot water and or placed in a dryer on high heat for 20-30 minutes. This includes all items that are being removed from your home or apartment such as; clothing shoes, jackets, duffle bags (EVERYTHING) etc..
• If possible, furniture must be moved away from walls.
• All electronics must be unplugged
• All valuables must be removed and a key/access must be provided to our service technician

Items that must be removed from the treatment area are as follows:

Plants, animals, candles, wax, crayons, lipstick and other meltable cosmetics, medicines, vitamins, aerosol cans, fire extinguishers, Oil & acrylic paintings, fresh fruit, vegetables, chocolates, carbonated beverages, wines, liquors, vitamins, medicines, and artificial sweeteners. (Items can be placed in refrigerator) and antique furniture with fragile glue points.
